Adjust your panel by substituting the old style Siemens QA115AF sensitive breakers with a new standard 15 or 20 amp QA115AFCCSA breaker, ensuring it's linked to the newly installed arc fault device. Breaker Types: Use a conventional breaker in lieu of a combination arc fault breaker prone to nuisance trips.
Electronic Trip Indicator A yellow flag will display in the window next to the circuit breaker handle to indicate that the Siemens AFCI tripped due to a fault condition. If the circuit breaker trips due to an overload or short circuit condition, the flag will not be visible.

2. Open the electrical service panel.
3. With the breaker switch in the ON position, press the AFCI TEST button.
4. The AFCI should trip, causing the switch to. move to either the OFF position or the TRIP position if the breaker includes one.
If it trips, the AFCI is working.
