Non-Metallic Liquidtight Conduit · 1/2 in x 100 ft coil · Gray PVC flexible raceway · Vista Carlon 15005-100
What this product is for
This 1/2 in non-metallic liquidtight conduit is used to protect conductors in wet, oily, or outdoor locations where a flexible raceway is needed. It is a gray PVC conduit supplied in a 100 ft coil and commonly selected for equipment connections that need movement tolerance or easier routing around obstacles.
Use for
Use for motors, pumps, transformers, refrigeration equipment, processing equipment, and other connections where vibration, flexing, or washdown conditions are present. It is typically installed with listed non-metallic liquidtight fittings to maintain a liquidtight, raintight, or oiltight termination.
Avoid for
Avoid where a metallic raceway is required for bonding, where the installation is subject to conditions outside the product temperature rating, or where the conduit and fittings are not listed as a complete system for the application. Do not assume connector compatibility without checking the fitting type and trade size.
Best for
Best for short equipment whips, rooftop or outdoor equipment connections, and industrial or commercial runs where corrosion resistance and flexibility matter. A practical trade rule of thumb is to keep flexible sections only as long as needed for serviceability and movement rather than using them as a substitute for the full raceway run.
Installed in
Installed in indoor or outdoor locations, wet locations, mechanical rooms, rooftops, around pumps and motors, and other areas where conduit may be exposed to water, oil, abrasion, or vibration. Typical terminations are made to boxes or enclosures using liquidtight fittings.
Why this product exists
This product exists to provide a flexible, non-metallic wiring method where rigid conduit would be harder to route or more vulnerable to vibration transfer. Compared with standard non-flexible raceway, it helps simplify final equipment connections and tight bends while maintaining environmental protection when paired with the correct fittings.
Compared with similar products
Compared with metallic liquidtight conduit, this non-metallic version offers corrosion resistance and lighter handling, but it should not be chosen where a metallic bonding path is required. Compared with standard flexible non-metallic conduit, liquidtight non-metallic conduit is intended for wet-location sealing when installed with listed fittings.
