Use for
Use for approved Eaton, Cutler-Hammer, Bryant, Westinghouse, Challenger and Novaline loadcentres where the panel label permits Type DNPL tandem breakers. This breaker is commonly selected when a panel has limited space and you need one 15A circuit and one 20A circuit in a single stab position.
Avoid for
Avoid using this breaker in panels that do not specifically accept tandem breakers, or where the panel directory and bus design do not permit Type DNPL devices. Do not use it as a substitute for a 2-pole common-trip breaker or where branch circuit requirements call for AFCI, GFCI, or other specialty protection not provided by this standard thermal-magnetic breaker.
Best for
Best for service upgrades, renovation work, and residential panel reconfiguration where approved tandem positions are available. It is a practical choice for electricians who need to free panel space without replacing the loadcentre.

Why this product exists
This breaker exists to provide two independent single-pole circuits in the footprint of one standard breaker space. For buying guidance, a typical 15A branch circuit is paired with #14 AWG copper and a typical 20A branch circuit with #12 AWG copper, subject to local code and application. Actual circuit design depends on conductor type, termination ratings, load characteristics, and the approved panel schedule.
Compared with similar products
Compared with a full-size single-pole breaker, the DNPL1520 lets you add two circuits in one space. Compared with equal-amp tandems such as 15/15A or 20/20A models, this version is useful when the panel schedule calls for mixed 15A and 20A branch circuits. It is not the same as a quad breaker and does not provide a tied 2-pole load.

Returns
Defective Items:
- If you receive a defective item, you may return it for a replacement or refund within 30 days of purchase.

Authorization:

Condition:
